| In reference to the "touristy" appeal of The Meeting House and Bruxy himself, he responds:
"I think people come to The Meeting House for all the wrong reasons, And that's okay. Our job is to help them stay for the right reasons." - Bruxy Cavey

.....Transition - my new favorite phase.
Random. Sometimes I wonder why can't some people (ie. me) just let go? Is it Pride? Fear? Shame?
I haven't been able to let go of it easy, but nowadays when I'm having trouble, I really enjoy listening to lyrics and beats of Lecrae - Take me as I am .
"Will you take me as i am; I know the way im livin is wrong, but I cant
change on my own, tryin to make it alone; I wonder, how could u love me
with my life so ugly; When you came down and died for me. Will you take
me as I am." -Lecrae (Chorus)
In theory should we not be praying this every night? Even more so than the day prior? Am I? Are You?
Past experiences tell me He will.

| Question.
..actually lets make this my* statement.
One of the greatest faults of any religion, any God-based faith... (I will use Christ-centered faith in most of my references, as it is the one I am most familiar and akin to.)
I believe... is the belief that I,(you, him, her) believe that we actually understand God. That we understand what, when, why, where, how... in some aspect, and likely many, many Christians believe consciously or subconsciously that they understand God, in a way that that lends heavily towards the foundation of their faith.
The point is that, when you push past the curtains, then peer through the smoke, and tunnel your way through the darkness, it's not understand "the point" that matters. I would say, it's the bare minimal comprehension, that there isn't a way we can even fathom WHAT God is. We can throw random adjectives, verbs, or phrases at it, but obviously (as most of you would agree), they simply don't do justice. If you understand anything, it should be that you understand... that you don't- not just that you don't, but that you can't. It's beyond our scope, beyond our brain, beyond human nature. That's how people get themselves into trouble, that's how alot of rifts in our churches, families, and communities exist. Faith requires Trust. Trust can be void of factual information. If you knew all the answers to the world, would faith be possible? No. How do you show faith? Prove that you can submit to an inadequate understanding, and that the best you can do is listen, learn, and improve. If someone says, "this is the way it is, without question" they are likely not to possess a genuine faith. Open your heart and mind to the guidance of your faith, think not "how so?" but "why can't I" and work towards that.
The more you try to put sections of God's puzzle together, the less likely your sections will fit, and the more finite your puzzle will become. Start your puzzle from the middle and add piece by piece. You'll soon see the picture come together, in a manner completely amazing, unique, and infinite... there is no end in "sight".
